Description

Depart from Barcelona in the morning and head to Girona, a charming medieval city at the foothills of the Pyrenees. The old town lies on the right bank of the Onyar River, where colorful houses line the riverside. Strolling through Girona feels like stepping back into the Middle Ages. The shallow waters of the Onyar flow quietly along the old town, where fish can be seen swimming clearly below. Reflections of the brightly painted houses create the illusion of another magical world beneath the river’s surface. After lunch, continue to Figueres, the hometown of Salvador Dalí, to visit the world-renowned [Dalí Theatre-Museum], also known as the “Museum of Memory.” Designed by Dalí himself, the museum offers a unique journey into his surreal universe. Its striking exterior—crowned with a giant glass dome, surreal sculptures, and oversized eggs—is just a prelude to what awaits inside. The collection spans every stage of Dalí’s career, showcasing countless works including masterpieces like The Persistence of Memory, The Hallucinogenic Toreador, and The Metamorphosis of Narcissus. Beyond paintings, visitors will also discover Dalí’s designs in sculpture, jewelry, and furniture. At the end of the visit, return to Barcelona, where the tour concludes.
