Rock and apples

Rock & Apples is a music academy, rehearsal room and live-event space at Carrer d'Amadeu, 26, in Calella. The venue combines music education with opportunities to practise, perform and take part in organised events, creating a setting focused on learning through playing. Its programme is aimed at children, young people and adults, with classes adapted to different levels, including beginners and musicians with previous experience.

Individual and small-group tuition covers guitar, bass, drums, piano, ukulele and singing. Lessons are practical and can include technique, rhythm, coordination, repertoire and the development of confidence with an instrument. Guitar tuition may cover electric, acoustic and classical styles, while bass and drum lessons focus on groove, timing and the role of each instrument within a band. The teaching approach is based on working with songs and applying musical ideas in practice.

Rock & Apples also offers musical combos for participants who want to play with other musicians. These group sessions involve preparing real songs, developing a set, working on stage presentation and experiencing the process of being part of a band. This makes the venue suitable for learners who want to move beyond individual practice and explore collaborative performance.

The rehearsal room provides a dedicated place for bands and musicians to prepare material in a comfortable, equipped environment. It can support repertoire development and preparation for live appearances, with the practical feel of a working music space rather than a conventional classroom. The venue also retains a performance function, hosting concerts, auditions and other live appearances.

Private events form another part of the offer. Birthdays, company gatherings, private concerts and celebrations can be organised with music, a bar and an alternative event atmosphere. The combination of teaching, rehearsing and performance gives the venue a clear musical identity, whether the occasion involves a first lesson, a band rehearsal or a live event.

Located in Calella on the Costa Brava, Rock & Apples suits aspiring musicians, families looking for music lessons, bands needing a rehearsal setting and organisers seeking a music-based space for a private occasion. It is a practical choice for those interested in learning an instrument, playing in a group or arranging an event connected with live music.
