The varied and original shops on the Costa Brava region provide a fantastic shopping experience. Every town and village is well known for its handicrafts, a good example of this is in La Bisbal de l’Empordà.
All the large towns have shopping centres and international high-street chain stores, but if you are looking for something a bit more special, visit small shops and boutiques and marvel at the wonderful designs, fashion and decorations. Note that shops normally close between 2pm and 5pm.
