Description
Pickup is arranged from central Barcelona between 5:00 and 6:00 AM, depending on the season. The transfer to Vol de Coloms takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.
At the Vol de Coloms base, guests are offered coffee and pastries while watching the balloon preparation. All baskets have doors, ensuring accessibility for everyone.
The balloon flight lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours, guided by the wind. During the flight, participants toast with rosé cava and sample coca de llardons d'Olot, a traditional local cake, while enjoying a 360º panoramic view of La Garrotxa and its volcanoes.
Upon landing, the ground team collects passengers in 4x4 vehicles and transports them to a nearby location for a hearty cooked breakfast. The meal includes bread with tomato and sausage, Santa Pau beans with sausage, desserts from Cooperativa la Fageda, coffee, and ratafia tasting.
The experience concludes with the presentation of a flight diploma signed by the pilot. Afterward, guests are returned to the original pickup point in Barcelona, with the return journey lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
