Description
Departing from Barcelona or Girona with hotel pick-up, the tour begins with arrival in the Alt Empordà wine region. You will visit the renowned Perelada winery and Wine Museum for an informed tour. Local winemakers will introduce the vineyards, explaining the unique soil, climate, and vine-growing process.
The visit continues in the winery, where you will learn the wine production steps from harvest to bottling. The wine tasting features a selection of top vintages from Perelada.
Next, travel approximately 30–45 minutes to Cadaqués, a coastal town on the Costa Brava. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant with views over the bay, sampling Mediterranean cuisine.
After lunch, visit the Salvador Dalí House-Museum in Portlligat, the former home of the Surrealist painter. The house contains artworks and personal items offering insight into Dalí’s life and work.
Explore Cadaqués beginning with the Virgin St Mary Church in the Old Town, providing panoramic views of the town and Mediterranean Sea. A one-hour guided walk through cobblestone streets reveals local stories and legends. You will then have 30 minutes of free time to explore crafts and specialty shops before returning to Barcelona.
