Description
Begin the day in Besalú, a well-preserved medieval village recognized for its architecture and historic atmosphere. Cross the iconic 11th-century fortified bridge that spans the river, then explore the town center with its cobblestone streets and the old Jewish Quarter. Highlights include a 12th-century Jewish ritual bath, one of the few preserved in Europe.
Visit Plaza Mayor to see the Church of Sant Vicenç and other medieval buildings, then browse local shops selling handicrafts and regional products.
