Depart Barcelona in the morning and travel to Girona, a medieval city located near the Pyrenees. The old town sits on the right bank of the Onyar River, featuring brightly colored houses that line the riverside. Walking through Girona offers a glimpse into its medieval past, with clear waters revealing fish beneath and colorful reflections creating a striking scene.
After lunch, continue to Figueres, the hometown of Salvador Dalí. Visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum, designed by Dalí himself, featuring a unique exterior with a giant glass dome, surreal sculptures, and oversized eggs. Inside, explore a comprehensive collection of Dalí’s works, including paintings like The Persistence of Memory, The Hallucinogenic Toreador, and The Metamorphosis of Narcissus, along with his sculptures, jewelry, and furniture designs.
