Description
Depart Barcelona in the morning aboard an air-conditioned bus and head north along the coastal highway to Blanes, known as the gateway to Costa Brava. Take in the scenic drive towards a less crowded, undeveloped cove where you can relax on the beach or swim in clear waters. You may choose to spend up to two hours on the beach or visit the famous Botanical Gardens nearby.
Enjoy a Mediterranean lunch at a family-owned restaurant featuring traditional Spanish dishes and a glass of Sangria, with a choice of main courses. After lunch, continue to Tossa de Mar, the last fortified town on Costa Brava.
Walk through cobblestone streets to the lighthouse for panoramic coastline views, then return via narrow lanes lined with whitewashed houses. You will have free time to shop for souvenirs, swim at the beach below the historic town, or rent a kayak for a paddle under the cliffs.
After exploring Tossa de Mar for a couple of hours, return to Barcelona by bus.
