This day trip blends countryside cycling and coastal relaxation, ideal for small groups seeking an easy e-bike adventure near Girona and Costa Brava.
Description
Depart from Barcelona in a 7-seat minivan towards Empordà, one of Catalonia’s 12 wine regions. After a 1 hour 45 minute drive, start a mostly flat 25km (18 miles) e-bike route through well-preserved medieval villages and fertile agricultural landscapes.
E-bikes come with helmets and panniers for carrying food and water. No special fitness level is required. Along the ride, several stops allow exploration of villages and countryside, offering a peaceful escape from the city.
After approximately two and a half hours cycling, return to the starting point and transfer by van to Costa Brava’s Calella de Palafrugell. Enjoy free time for lunch and relaxation before departing back to Barcelona around 4 pm, arriving by 6 pm.
