Day 1: Barcelona – Montserrat – Girona
Begin with a visit to Montserrat's Benedictine monastery, home to the Black Madonna (La Moreneta). Enjoy panoramic views of the mountain’s unique rock formations and a guided tour of the basilica, cloister, and main square.
Continue to Girona, a medieval city with Roman walls, a Gothic cathedral, and a historic Jewish quarter. Take a guided walking tour covering significant sites such as the Jewish Quarter, cathedral, Eiffel bridge, and city walls.
Stay overnight in a carefully selected boutique hotel located centrally in Girona’s Old Town. Evening hours in Girona offer a quieter atmosphere ideal for dining and strolling along the Onyar River or exploring local streets under streetlights.
Day 2: Girona – Tossa de Mar – Barcelona
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning exploring Girona independently. Recommended options include visiting the Jewish History Museum, browsing artisan shops, or enjoying a vermut in one of the city’s squares.
After lunch, travel to Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava. Walk along the medieval castle walls overlooking the sea, swim in sheltered coves, browse local boutiques, or relax on Platja Gran beach. Return to Barcelona around 20:30.
