About ninety kilometers north of Barcelona reach the city of Girona. Its historical center or 'barri vell' is one of the most evocative of Catalonia with monumental elements unique in Europe.  local guide you will pick you up with a car or private bus. Then be taken to Gerona either by the coastal road or the highway (your choice).  You will cross one of the bridges over the river Oñar and you will begin to walk the 'Barri vell'.
