Follow in the footsteps of the surrealist artist, Salvador Dalí on a 10-hour sightseeing tour from Barcelona, and go to the town where the Catalan genius was born, and where he spent much of his life. Following a pick-up from your hotel in Barcelona, transfer by private minivan through the idyllic landscapes of the Costa Brava. Uncover the mysteries of Salvador Dalí en route to Figueres, and discover a small town near the border with France that is part of the so-called “Dalí Triangle.” It was in Figueres that Dalí was born and spent his childhood, and it’s here that you will find the Dalí Museum. Designed by Dalí himself, on the ruins of the old municipal theater that he used to frequent, the museum will take you on a strange journey through the painter's mind. Discover his most complete collection of art, and discover some of the strangest artifacts you can imagine. Then, continue to Púbol to see the Gala-Dalí Castle, created by Dalí as a place of refuge for his wife Gala from a restored Renaissance-Gothic palace. Completely refurbished by Dalí himself, the building contains stunning frescoes, and the “View of Púbol” watercolors. It is also home to the mausoleum he built as the last resting place for his wife.
