Empuriabrava, located just 2 km. from Castelló d’Empúries, is considered one of the largest residential marines in Europe. It was originally constructed in 1967 and has more than 30 kms. of navigable canals.
Almost all of the houses located in Empuriabrava have gardens, garages and private access to the canals where owners have their own moorings right on their doorsteps.
With the same level of services as in any town, Empuriabrava also has its own airfield, a large shopping area and a yacht club.
On the outskirts of Empuriabrava you can find one of the largest butterfly parks in Europe housing more than 1000 exotic and native butterflies.
