Weather Overview

The weather on the Costa Brava is typically Mediterranean, mild and without extreme temperatures.

The average temperature throughout most of the year is between 13ºC and 27ºC.

The warmest months are July and August, with the highest temperatures reaching sometimes even more than 30ºC.

The coldest months are December, January and February, with temperatures sometimes falling below 6ºC.

The mild weather on the Costa Brava makes it possible to practise all types of outdoor sports and leisure activities, to enjoy the various music festivals held in different towns along the coast during the summer months or even just to have a drink on a café terrace.

In fact, throughout almost all of the year the Costa Brava region has sun and good weather, ideal for walking on the beach, exploring town streets steeped in history, going on excursions or playing golf.
