  • Tour in Tossa de Mar,
  • Peratallada, another beautiful medieval town with a castle
  • Visit the Torre de les Hores, a Romanesque tower from the 12th century

We will begin our trip from your hotel at the agreed time. We begin our tour in Tossa de Mar, one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Brava. Our first stop will be the iconic castle that dominates the city. Built in the 12th century to protect the town from possible pirate attacks. Here you can enjoy the impressive views of the beach and the old town from the main square. Within the walls of the castle is Vila Vella, the only fortified medieval town that can currently be seen on the Costa Brava. Walking through its cobbled streets, full of stone houses decorated with pots and colorful flowers, is one of the best experiences in Tossa de Mar. After exploring Vila Vella, we will head to the urban center of Tossa de Mar to enjoy a snack in one of the many restaurants you will find on Calle dels Socors. This is the liveliest street in Tossa de Mar, full of clothing and souvenir shops. In the middle of summer, it is usually very busy, so it is advisable to make a reservation at the restaurant. Later we will continue our trip to the picturesque medieval towns, starting with Pals. Upon arrival we will go to the Mirador del Pedró, one of the highest points in the town. From here, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view that takes in the rice fields, the Empordà plain and, on clear days, all the way to the Pyrenees. This is the perfect place to take some photos and capture the beauty of the surroundings. From the viewpoint, we will descend through the narrow streets flanked by stone houses decorated with colorful flowers. We will visit the Torre de les Hores, a Romanesque tower from the 12th century that used to be part of the old defensive wall. Its name comes from the bell tower added in the 15th century. The tower is one of the emblems of Pals and offers a fascinating insight into medieval architecture. Finally, just 10 minutes by car, we will head towards Peratallada, another beautiful medieval town with a castle, walls, moats and palaces. Once there, we will enjoy a walk through its cobbled streets and stone facades that characterize this town. Plaza de les Voltes is the heart of Peratallada, known for its well-preserved medieval center. We will return to Barcelona and drop you off at your hotel, completing a day full of history, culture and impressive landscapes.
